hey guys how r you all doing today i hope everyones having a great tuesday! anyhoot im just updating my blog here didnt realise i hadnt done it in a while so here it is lol. anyhoot i have been helping my family tear up carpet and the pad underneath and we discovered we have hard wood floors underneath!!!! O.O that was a shocker i mean we thot there was a wood floor under the carpet but werent sure. man the idiot who decided to put carpet down...ugh. our house is around 80 yrs old so theres a lot of history here. the town we live in is an old minor town there were copper mines all over the place here. and so this house is a minor house or was back in the early 1900's... lol. so you kinda get the picture. ^^ anyhoot so yah we ripped up the carpet and found the what we think is oak floors! yay! heres the bad thing tho the floor is is completely stained from years of carpet on the floor and dog urine and feces and dirt and dust and grime and everything you can think of that a carpet could collect over 20+ years!!! yes its that bad we r on our 3rd day of this project! we have gotten the carpet and pad up and now we have swept the floor and mopped with vinegar yesterday and today we r going to mop some more after bills are paid. yay. more stinky vinegar...joy... anyhoot after this is done we r going to go get ply wood and put down on the floor and then we have to get tile put down over that so yah we still got a while to go yet. anyhoot gotta go talk to you guys later bye.
